the loon and the grebe‘s Recipe For: Raw Milk Kefir Ice Cream

This Recipe is An Absolute “Kefir”!

(Yields 1.5 Gallons)

In large mixing bowl add;
10 cups organic raw milk
2 cups organic raw milk kefir
2 cups pure maple syrup or raw honey
2 tbsp pure vanilla extract
2 tbsp vodka (keeps it creamy and from turning into a frozen solid block)
Beat with hand mixer on high for about 3-5 mins.
Pour mixture into ice cream maker
In mixing bowl add:
5 cups organic raw cream
1/2 cup pure maple syrup or raw honey
beat at high speed until soft mounds form
add cream to ice cream maker and fold with large spoon
Start Ice cream maker and add ice and rock salt (about 5 to 6 cups of ice for every cup of salt).  Mix for about 25 mins then enjoy or freeze…

We like to eat food that is good for us, but come on… it HAS to taste good!
