I pretty much never get tired of watching / listening to these guys. The acoustics on this live recording are amazing! Thank you, Danny Vasquez for introducing me to both Local Natives and La Blogotheque. This is just rad music. Enjoy. Check out the girl at the end. She’s so cute singing it! Love it.

Your Grace Finds Me – by Matt Redman

I love this song… I love seeing the diversity and uniqueness of each individual worshipper as they lead. It speaks to the nature of God, and His intricate nature in creating each one of us with our own fingerprint and personality, down to our own expression in worship to Him. It’s absolutely beautiful when it all comes together in harmony. God is so good!

In the midst of the storm I have found shelter in You – yet I am filled with sorrow – From where I hide I can still see the view – of all my crushed dreams for tomorrow – I will pour out my heart… I will surrender my will – and quietly cry for my loss – I will rest in Your strength and surrender until – I find all of my hope in Your cross – Oh, where can I go that You won’t be with me – You’ll never leave me alone – Through tear filled eyes I cannot see clearly – but You are my Cornerstone – You are acquainted with all of my ways – knowing each thought that I think – You will be with me all of my days – no matter how deep my heart sinks – O,h how can I fear with You as my Lord – there is no power You cannot defeat – I will fight with Your Word as my sword – and my enemy will have to retreat – Jesus Christ… Most Powerful One – thank You for being my friend – I need not fear… for the victory’s been won – and I know I will stand in the end. No Alone – by Jamie Grace

One upon a time… the “dead come to life” story and official music video by jonathan thulin (feat. chamaine) has all the appeal of a storybook, but will quake your bones with the truth of reality. Has a C.S. Lewis feel to it. I’m drawn to the artistic creativity and power delivered in the message. I won’t write a whole commentary. Listen and decide for yourselves. Have a Blessed day!! Love, Amie Joy

JONATHAN THULIN – DEAD COME TO LIFE

Lyrics:

I am the living dead, you are the opposite,
We’re like fire and ice, only one can survive,
My will’s departed.

Life is in your eyes, reach into mine,
I am

A valley of bones covered in stone, nothing more than human,
Do you know, body and soul, you’re calling me good,
Only with you the dead come to life, dead come to life,
Only with you the dead come to life, dead come to life,
Only with you the…

I am a foreigner, caught in the cross fire
I am paralyzed by the battle cries, can you hear it?

Life is in your eyes, reach into mine,
I am

A valley of bones covered in stone, nothing more than human,
Do you know, body and soul, you’re calling me good,
Only with you the dead come to life, dead come to life,
Only with you the dead come to life, dead come to life,
Only with you the…

We are the trying, thirst, they seem,
Upon this dry and thirsty land.

Will you spread life into the flesh?
Breathe again into the dead, dead.

A valley of bones covered in stone, nothing more than human,
Do you know, body and soul, you’re calling me good,
Only with you the dead come to life, dead come to life,
Only with you the dead come to life, dead come to life,
Only with you the dead come to life.

Lauren Shera – “Endless Sea”

Okay, one more. Any of you who know me from my singing and “singer/songwriter” (if you could call me that) days, you know I am huge lover of true folk music. Lauren Shera is amazing. With her Roots music meets Indie style, she has a unique edge in this genre right now. She and her band have a refined and distinct aesthetic… Really, it’s genius “relaxed”. If you’re not the type to sit and listen to a song and hone in on each individual instrument and vocalist… This video will give you a peek into the mind of us weirdos that think that way. But more than that, you’ll get a moment to observe some pretty awesome talent, and hear it too. Enjoy.

Lauren, you’re music is amazing!  Thanks for sharing it with us!
